You guys can come root me on in the drag racing deal.. they are doing a "Media vs Manufacturers" deal..

Curious what Penny will do in the 1320.. then I'm in for the autocross stuff

I'm running 100's anyway. I'm all for supporting the economy but my local tire shop can find a few other customers.

What are the rules about tires? Can you bring different sets? drag vs auto-x... my buddy may run his car at this event.

Dont ask dont tell? I doubt anyone would care. Would be a good way to win some tires too.

I just ordered up two spare rear Forgelines for BP.. that way I can run my Mickey Thompson drag tires on the strip and swap back to my street tires for the autox..

In short, I don't think they care about switching between the events since there is no "all encompasing" contest going on.

Here’s the Treadwear info:

Participants must use DOT approved tires with a minimum of 180 tread wear. (No

shaving or softening) No R compound or racing tires for official timed runs. Unapproved

tires may be used for a limited number of exhibition, non scored runs per day. To be

determined as time allows.

This is going to be a blast!
