A guy in your position can't have too many choices.
Probably the best pictures I've seen that really show this in all the different lights. Yeah...it's doesn't seem to ever look bad does it.

Thanks!

Well played.

That reminds me of the cars in the original Mad Max. Might have to watch that now. Thanks!

I originally supplied the paint for that car but it never got used. The code is from Porsche, M7Z GT SILVER I believe at the time I had to have PPG help me get the code it was only available on the high dollar HYBRID they built. To bad Curtis I gave it away not to long ago.

Driving Mayhem into SEMA - with crap all over in the aisles - and guys running around on forklifts... and wooden crates... That was nerve wracking!

Great looking car! Well.... everything except that dumb orange stripe...

Does that mean the relentless pursuit of the perfect paint job is over, darn I was going to ship out this Mattel product to Curtis to see if it could possibly help with the decision making process, seriously, nah, maybe!

You can send that anyways. Pretty sure I could use it in other areas or just give it to my wife to use.

No worries Brother. Now that I have the paint code Jim will do a spray out and I can compare.

See you at Columbus.

Small Update...but first: I STILL HAVEN'T NAILED DOWN THE COLOR Jim is going to do a few more spray outs for me. Honestly my brain needed a rest for a few.

Jim took a break from the car and focused on some upgrades to his house while his girl was away. Sounds like a new sink and the addition of a bay window and sliding door. He also did some repairs on his daily driver. Pretty crazy for 10 days worth of work. He's a machine!

Back to the car. Sounds like he's thinking one more round of primer and the big stuff will be good to go. After that he will blow the car apart and go after jams, etc. All the small stuff.

Watching all this take shape and seeing all the time spent to do it right makes me think of people that are shocked at how much it costs to paint a car. It's a lot of work!
