Yeah, Yeah.
I think this is the most frustrating part of the build. It will be such a relief when we finally get to the actual build part of the process. Keep in mind, I wasn't even going to paint the car when I first bought it.

In all seriousness, I'm going through the design of my custom house right now. In the last stages. The overall vision is important in your color choice. A modern color will work great with a modern theme. Meaning, engine, wheels, interior, luxuries
I'm building a transitional house. Meaning, not to traditional, not to contemporary. A modern balance.
I don't know if this helps, but I thought I'd share this perspective because building a custom car, which I've done, and a custom house are in the same ball park.
I pieced my muscle car together and it turned out good, I've spent some serious time on design and preparation for my home, I hope it turns out great.

Timeless and Balance is the idea. Based on a few posts you've made we share your approach and vision. It's a delicate process, but worth it.

I was looking at the Atomic Silver but wondered if the color was too "New" for the older muscle car? I also looked at the Porsche 918 Liquid Metal Silver. GOOD LUCK!!!

Yeah they're brushed. I could change the wheels, but that's just an added expense. The BMW Sterling Gray is great, but on the darker side based on all the pictures Google found for me. Atomic Silver is high on my list, but you and Todd have said the exact same thing that I have been thinking. "Is it to "New" for our cars"?. That's enough to for me to drop it further down the list.

Very similar to a wheel finish that most know as "hyper silver" with the dark undertones and depth. It would look absolutely killer on any car.
Customer car that was here last week.

Yes! I like that. Different than the last Silver Dodge used. Heck just the fact that all of you (mainly Tony who has been suggesting White since day one) changed your mind and seem to prefer this over the others says a lot.

I like it, but it just doesn't do it for me. I'll post some of the examples I've been looking at.
