What you said is spot on Ken.... and when you toss in the history and what he did for my other track car — it was easy to be “all in”. I’m just happy that my line of credit was still good with Charley so I could get it all fixededededed up again! LOL 😂

talking to Greg's friend Bruce about the Vbox camera system and he suggested using the CANBUS info from the Holley Dominator to give much more info to the vbox display and use it for more tuning!! we also are adding brake pressure input to the Holley/ Vbox so that will display as well, this should be helpful in seeing what is happening on track and could help make for quicker lap times if that is the goal................
had time to remake the belly pan parts that were all tore up from Thunderhill.

Interesting tuning observation we had 1.5deg neg camber. in the car tire wear and temp 180 ish was close but we added 1/8 shim to give almost 2 deg. and the inside tire temp went WAY 220 if i recall up and the added wear showed as well. out came the shim may go 1/2 way and add 1/16 shim if we get any more test time on it. But that was very interesting to see a small change make a big difference.
.5 degree camber adjustment to me is alot when when you get over 1.0 negative camber. If its a couple tenths off from side to side I can feel the difference on the highway.

I have a “surgical procedure” tomorrow at The Mayo to clean my liver stents out — and HOPEFULLY that restores my energy level..... IF (big IF) that works — I’ll be headed to pick it up and try to run it mid May at Thunderhill....

We shall see. It’s anybody’s guess.

That’s why I’m so pissed at Sutton — #1 because he just flat out overstated his abilities.... and knowledge.... and that cost me TIME I don’t have. I felt good last year when it was “finished”.... Now the cancer has progressed a whole year....

Car talk is one thing Greg, but more importantly...I pray everything goes well with your medical procedure today. GOD shall cover you with his mercy and everything will be fine.

So - thank God I have a daughter (Adrienne) that loves a road trip as much as I do - and also would prefer to drive the dually over a “normal” car.... With Speedtech moving to their new building — I was pretty sure they’d like the DM out of their hair.... So despite me not feeling well - or very energetic.... we hooked up and set out for St George Utah.... Once there we had a nice dinner with Blake and Anita — and the “boys” loaded up “NOT SAUCE” and all it’s parts and pieces.... These guys are GOOD! Seriously! I went to the bathroon — and by the time I came out - everything was packed - strapped and in it’s place.

We set off for Thunderhill Raceway.... where I had two jobs. #1 - move from my little shop - to the new larger version.... and #2 - get “Not Sauce” put away.... #3 was a stop at Charley’s if we had time. Mind you — all these days later and I haven’t driven a single mile.

It’s a three calendar day drive to do all this.... and when I got to Thill —— Dan Basher is waiting for us to arrive! Total surprise to me! That’s a 12 hour drive for him to come down from Seattle.... It was a good - no. Make that GREAT surprise. I had arranged with the track to get me some labor to make all this happen.... and I was dreading that - but it is what it is. A man has to know his limitations.

Well —- Dan and I moved everything! Well - let me make a correct statement — Dan moved 6 to my 1.... and I can’t thank him enough - ever - for making a dreaded move a fun couple days. I’d always prefer to do things with friends!

Now we’re headed home..... with a little “thanks Adrienne! stop in Vegas”.
