Question

Ben bringing this thread to the top ... do you have pics of these inner wheel wells on the 67 you finished? Install PDF?

Really curious how they install and look on a car vs the retail picture on the website!

Bringing back this thread but I wanted to see if you guys had the weight of your widened fiberglass fenders vs factory steel ones?

Ahmad

Hey Ahmad, thanks for asking. We haven't weighed them for comparison, and unfortunately the original inners we had were cut up and reshaped to make a mold off of so I couldn't go weigh them now. Ours are likely about the same weight as the factory steel units. Our inners are not designed to be like light racer weight drag race inners, but rather are a little thicker, designed to be durable and last in a street car application.

BTW, we have dropped the price significantly on them to better serve you guys, they're now a lot cheaper than similar tubs from competitors. Please note again although they use factory fender mounting points these are designed specifically to fit our ExtReme subframe shock towers and frame rail contours and will not fit any other subframe without modification.

Might be quicker for you to break out the fab tools. Unfortunately in this business new part design and development often relies on what car is in the shop. We'd need a 65 here to do that. Lots of Camaros here but not many Chevelles...

Agreed. With the new ExtReme chassis now available for Chevelles we should be seeing more of them being competitive against the Camaros and such. Alan is almost done with his new '70 Chevelle that will be on an ExtReme chassis so we're looking forward to seeing him get it running, dialed in, and start taking out some pony cars.
