Looks great Todd! I'm cracking up that you post more pictures of the garage\shop than the house. I totally get that!!

We are getting finishing touches inside our build...tile, backsplash, granite etc all in the finishing stages. This is where we get to see how our decor decisions we made on May 26 2017 work out. So far so good we think.

It's starting to look like a real house! I'm really happy with the framers and their execution of the details. They have another week or two and then we go to roughs.

There is no doubt you are right, but once in it's to late. They may drag me out of here in a body bag and I don't want the maintenance.

It has to be a huge deal for your whole family -- forget the nice garage space for you.

It's a game changer my friend. This town is turning into a mini LA and this is my little slice of paradise. It's in the rural preservation so I'm surrounded by 1 acre minimum. So I'll have some breathing room as long as I call it home. The neighbors have been great and there are some really nice homes going in around me. (Bigger and more $ than mine) I'm really optimistic about the area over the long term.

As far as moving in goes. It's going to be a while.

31 days!! And yes, we have a count down clock!!

We feel the same way about our lot Todd. Around Phoenix most residential lots are UBER small, like 20' setbacks to street and 5' setbacks to sides. It is amazing to me how so many people live where they can spit on their neighbors house...

Everyone from here that has been to our 8/10s acre lot immediately comments on how lucky we are that we have so much open space around the house. Add to that the New River wash is our neighbor to the East and a road is behind us and it's actually a VERY secluded homesite very close to a 5 million person metro area. We needed this coming from an 11 acre parcel with zero neighbors but didn't really realize just how rare it was until spending a lot of time driving around seeing just how crowded in most homes around here are.
