This is what I was thinking about. It can be done with a TrailBlazer SS ECM it looks like.

Dakota Digital makes a kit for cruise control on for "drive by wire" TBs. I believe it is near $400

According to tech at Pace Performance, GM does not offer anything to add to a GMPP LS controller kit to add cruise. I cannot speak to the reworked OEM harnesses.

Dakota Digital has a couple different kits to add on.

Just curious, anyone got any experience with the Dakota Digital CRC-1000 or CRC-2000? I’m looking for some cruise control and running DD VHX gauges, LS3 DBW and T56 Magnum. Thanks!

Default LS3 manual with cruise control

I have a GMPP Connect and Cruise LS3, T56 with cruise control.
I’m using the Dakota Digital CRC 2000 with the HDX gauges. It works great now.
We had some issues getting it to work initially. It would come on then go back off without setting.

Finally figured out some of the wiring was incorrect (our bad) and I think a pull up resistor was added in the brake light circuit.

We did not install a switch to the clutch pedal to disengage the cruise. If something happens I hit the brake and the clutch at the same time so I didn’t think I needed one.

Hope this helps.
