Thumbs up Official SEMA 2005 thread

Guys - Jody, Brent and I have been talking and decided it's time to get the ball rolling on SEMA. We're trying to decide where we're going to stay, and we'd prefer to stay on the strip.

As for myself, I'm planning on flying in on Tuesday, November 1st and flying home Saturday late morning/early afternoon.

Let's get this started and make some decisions this month.

Hey, I'm easy Scott. Are you still looking at getting a discounted rate on a block of rooms?

My local union sent a few others and I down to Vegas a couple of years ago. We ended up staying at the Flamingo, it wasn't bad and had reasonable rates as I remember.

Bill does this mean you are going this year?? Man I cant get you to go to Oregon, but LV isn't a problem? J/K LOL

Right now we are planning on going...this will be our 3rd year in a row!!!

Hey Scott, you seem to know a lot of the right people, is there any way we can get a list of what and where the more popular builders entries are? For the past couple of years I feel I made my rounds pretty well, to find out later in the TV year that I missed all kinds of neet stuff...usually it's on 'Rides' that I see what I missed out on seeing!!

I'll be there every single day this year (just like last) but with a hitch. We're making our Chevelle's first public appearance (other than testing) in the 20'x 20' RE Audio booth...so you'll guys will get to see it in person. I'm terrified...

Last year I weenied out a bit, though. I usually made it to about 2Pm and my feet would be killing me so i'd have to pretty much take it easy for the rest of the day. Also, I showed up to the P-T dinner an hour late because I'm retarded (got the time wrong) and was downstairs gambling and drinking. I didn't miss dessert, though
