I decided since I was being lazy today I would post up a few progress pictures of the car.
I ended up having a custom inlet built for the supercharger. I had major hood clearance issues with the inlet that I had to begin with. I turned out overall pretty good and I have had the car running. That was a major milestone. It is a ls3 413 with a 3300 lysholm setup from Wegner motorsports. I am using a holley hp ecu. with ctsv fuel pump.
I had all the bodywork done and then got a wild hair to tuck the rear bumper and shave the drip rails. It was a little pain in the azz.. but looks pretty good.
Wheels,, Finally this was a hard decision for me. There are so many nice wheels on the market. I went with rushforth rated x, They fit very well. 19x12 on the front and 18x10 on the rear.
Michelin Pilot SS for rubber, I debated about going with a tire leaning more towards auto x. I would like to drive this car and in Wyoming anyplace we go is pretty much min of 100 miles.. So I went with the Michelins. You can buy cheaper,, but can you buy better? 275/35/18 front and 325/30/19 on the rear.
Heat exchanger for the supercharger, This was pretty one of the first that cr racing built. I waited for a few months for this as well. It is a very nice piece. If you ever need anything Paul Hammond is a good guy to deal with, very professional and returns calls. I also purchased a radiator from them. It has the oil cooler and ps cooler built in. However I looked at the cooling system as insurance for the engine.
Ricks fuel tank with ctsv pump and vaporworx controller, Pretty cool stuff, to bad such a beautiful part is under the car.
Stainless fuel line from tank runs down the inside of frame rail.. I learned a lot about stainless. I would use it again. I may do a few things different.
I have done all the work on this car myself, the lack of resources living in the middle of Wyoming makes you learn.. or figure it out.. I have also learned a lot from all the lateral-g members.
