Default New T56 Magnum

Hey guys, I just sold my TKO 600 which has made way for me to purchase my T56 Magnum. I am going to buy mine right from Jegs and piece together my own parts, such as bellhousing, clutch, etc. Same as I did with my TKO 600. Just wanted to know if anyone else has one and if so, how do you like it? I know they are fairly new on the market and many may not have them yet. Just thought I would ask.

Well guys, just went to pick up my T56 Magnum from the freight dock at 10pm last night. Opened that box & it was amazing. Can't wait to get it installed. It will still we be a winter project though. As I still have to buy the other components, such as, clutch, bellhousing, yoke and a few other things for the LS 6.0 install like headers, ECU & brackets from Street & Performance. Don't have the money right now as I'm preparing for Christmas for the wife & kids, property taxes at the end of the year and all the other BS that's in my way. But hey, that's life, huh?

I've had one in Penny for a couple of months (From Classic Motorsports Group)

Love the trans.. it's shifting is so smooth and the new gearing is MUCH better.

Feel free to ask me any questions.

Thanks!
Steven

By looking at the ratios the gearing is the same as the t56 I have. Is there an internal design difference that makes it better? Also, the advertised rating for these is 700hp/tq, is this a conservative rating or not to be pushed?

I have read about and sen pics of side by side comparo of internal parts. There is a BIG difference in size/strength between the standard and magnum versions. I do not know about the rating though.
