You found my dream car.

I am considering looking for my 1st car which was a 67 Camaro. I saw it a couple years and it was 4-Sale and and and I should have bought it. However. now I regret not buying it.

They said: "We thought he sold that car a long time ago" My bid was the highest at 6k and it was loaded on a trailer.

This car had none of the usual rust one would expect on a 68 Camaro. Zero rust at the bases of the front and rear glass for example. The quarters, doors, fenders, also were rust free. Obviously only surface rust on the top of the car because of all those years under the hay. A bonus was finding a complete NOS set of window moldings in the trunk.

Hey, I wanna play.......

I'm not sure anyone on this forum knows of my story with this car. The brief version is, I built this as a senior in high school in 1987 with my dad. Even drove it to my senior prom. Sadly we sold the car in 1991 and lost track of it, but after a nearly 10 year search I found it in Florida 2 years ago and bought it back. The kicker, same exact paint, pin striping and interior as it was in 1987. It is a complete time warp other than the mechanical upgrades.

In high school when I drove it we ran wide whites and Caddy caps, so I immediately put them back on upon getting the car home.
