You’ve had the car for a few months now and been on track a couple times, don’t you think it’s time to send it off to the first shop for some upgrades?

Just here to help.

I haven’t seen the book but I do get friendly reminders of “you know what you need?” It’s all good, friends helping friends make poor decisions.

If you think cars, in general, are expensive.... and that Hot Rods are even more expensive.... Buy a race car and find out what "expensive" means.

Life is expensive! Another friend of ours said it best. “Don’t spend more on a race car than you’re willing to blow in Vegas, or flush down the toilet” I’m not willing to do either so, no “race car” for this guy....yet.

Now a well handling V8, manual, street car is an affordable way of getting some seat time....I’m finding out that they cost money as well.

This car has been the best bang for buck car yet... so far.

2018 could see some improvements to this car.... as the driver improves

Yes, my shifting in this thing needs work. Geez...

Pretty satisfied with my first time out at Laguna. And that no major carnage or issues came about. A second day would've been great, and/or a group without beginners. This was a rare clean lap.
