Hey 63 Grandsport, I hope you get to run your car, if so I'll be right behind ya in our D & D Grand sport. It says no kit cars in the rules but maybe you'll get to run. Looking forward to seeing how it works out.

Sitting in our hotel room at 6am, still buzzing from the experience yesterday. I'm pretty excited to get back for the autocross and speed stop challenge today, but it will be very hard to top the high banks

I am happy to go away with everything intact, running good after three full sessions on the track, including one at "dusk" with the track lights on. What an amazing thing to get to do. I will never forget that feeling. I was not pushing as hard as I could've (I wanted to have something to drive today ), but still managed to hit a high speed of 126mph. Danny Popp, Mike Johnson and Kyle were into the 160's for sure. Crazy.

Good news, nobody got hurt. James did get into the barrier though with the Onelap Camaro, felt horrible for him. Looked pretty superficial and I think they have it patched up for the rest of the event now. I think I heard last night that somebody did lose a motor too, but not sure who it was.

Time to get back, we have an 8:00am driver's meeting!
