I am sure you guys would be the ones to know. I gave read numerius threads that they can be a pain to fit but no complaints about the quality. Do you have any tips on installing them? Some have said a heat gun helps but sometimes edges need trimmed a little.

Has anyone ever encountered issues with aftermarket 69 deluxe panels being too thick? I removed my factory drivers side panel and tried to put a new one in it's place; the aftermarket version had to be 3/4" thicker than the factory one I removed. Good luck getting a window crank on with that!!

I just want to make sure the next set I buy are decently faithful to the original panel.

Do you know what brand it was that you bought?

Can't be sure. They were second hand via Ebay, not from the original distributor. I don't suspect they were Al Knoch brand, just wondering if anyone else had ever seen that issue.

were you replacing deluxe door panels or did you have standard before because deluxe door panels do take a different window regulator

I was replacing the factory deluxe panels. I've verified it has the deluxe regulators just as a sanity check. I'll have to take some pictures for ya.
