Default 4l85 e temp sensor placement.

I have a 97 and newer design 4l85e and I got an aluminum pan, I want to know where the best place to put the sensor in the pan?

You might consider putting it inline with the discharge line of the transmission to the cooler. Putting it in the pan would only give you the returned temperature of the fluid and not tell you what kind of heat you transmission is actually producing....just my thought...
