Default Intro

Well, after lurking on this site for a bit, I figured I'd stop by and say "hello". Well, I have a '72 Chevelle that I'm slowly working on (more like spending my $$ on, lol!).

Ask Jody (camcojb), the car is at his place. Kinda had no choice, I sort of purchased the car without telling the wife and ..........(you guys can figure out the rest) So, it's at Jody's getting odds and ends purchased and put on it until I bite the bullet and tell the wife

I plan to do a mild Pro Touring theme on it. It needs the standard compliment of paint, LS engine, interior pieces, dash help, brakes, etc, etc. Yep, it's a bunch of things, but it'll get there one day, I hope

As far as pics, I'm bad with taking pics, I'll have to get a couple and post them. Sorry, I know the old adage but I'll get some up soon (I hope).

Steve

Oh man. Better you than me.

I did that with a motorcycle a few years ago. Not something I'd ever suggest. Unless sleeping in your truck is something you enjoy.....

Welcome to the site! Sounds like you have a cool project going. Pics would be great anytime.

Uh oh buddy, you're in trouble now. Forget the car pics. Send us the pics of that new black eye you're gonna get when you tell the wife and she slaps fire from your ass. LOL! Just kidding, I have a '72 Chevelle also. Congrats!! And get us pics ASAP!!

Thanks for the welcome fellas. Yeah, the wife thing should be interesting when I tell her. I've already got some scenarios I've worked out to tell her (as far as how much I spent on it and when/where I got it) If all else fails I'll blame it on

I'll have to work on getting some pics tomorrow. That's probably when I'll be over there next.

Here's a couple quick pics I took the other day. Front end will come down some, but the car looks good.
