All cat fights aside, I did notice some big-deal signups for Saturday, including Maier and Cortex (Mike and Filip). These represent very cool, highly developed Mustangs, and this time around, I should actually have time to appreciate the scenery, and maybe witness the catfighting in person...

I also saw Mike Musto on the list--he's the Web TV car guy, right? Cool. We've all probably seen his show...

As yet, I seem to have the only Falcon signed up, representing what might very well be the worst paint on the track. Better now than later. Heck yeah!

We'll see who's cup spills over fastest with excuses when you get your 800 hp wide track beast on the track........
Expectations for a 600 hp stock subframe leaf spring car will be nothing compared to what lap times you will be expected to lay down

You clearly missed the part where WELD is coming. It begins and ends with WELD.

Okay we're done here.

Ugh... I am so bummed I have to miss this event with it right here in my own back yard. I drive past Sears Point 2x a day and have been looking forward to it since Thunder Hill... that I missed because the car was still in the shop.

I have had one issue after another getting the correct parts from Hurst DL for my TKO600 kit and Ridetech over the past 3-4 months. I wont go into details but it is the old - wrong parts in the order and the you need this part to make that part work scenario. With the shipping times back and forth we've killed almost 2 months.

The silver lining is I have a new TKO 600, new triple adjust RT front shocks and new RT control arms because the new FOX shocks don't fit the old control arms... but they didn't tell me that at first. I also have a new ECU and system controller now too. So we should be good to go.

Of course, I should have the car back later this week but with zero miles on the new clutch and tranny so I didn't pull the trigger on registering fearing this would happen. Now my wife has guilted me into going to Monterey & Santa Cruz this weekend so I wont see you guys. But I do get a nice weekend away at the beach.

I will be in Pleasanton for WCN's so look forward to seeing some of you there and I'm in on the next Norcal event for sure! Have fun boys and I will be checking in each night for play by play, spirited banter with Flash & Weld and pics.
