Now, I'm waiting to see more from others, who actually went outside the awards and manufacturers' areas. I tried to again this year, but these cars are like magnets to me and I can't escape their pull.

I was there this weekend at the show and saw a great number of cars in the Street Rod class. I thought the Street Machine class was down on the number of quality cars and the overall quantity of cars present. There were some nice cars just not as many nice cars as usual.

I had a great time hangin with friends from all over the country and meeting new friends. That is what these shows should be about. Build the cars for the cars, if you want a trophy, save yourself alot of money and go buy a really nice trophy.

I know alot of guys who thought this was really cool. Rambler convertible with a laid back windshield and a 440 chrysler engine. This car was cool just like it is.

Definitely. He passed by me and turned the corner before I could get my camera out! I love it!

I had intended to try and find you to shake your hand and say hey, but forgot that you weren't going to have a vendor spot. You said something like you can't miss me, but I didn't know what to look for - lol!

the black wagon is a client, we matched all the trim and tail gate to his paint job, turned out nice.

I have more pics, but they would be duplicates of what Todd has posted

Funny you should say that I'm in a few pics with Kenny through out this thread. It's like where's waldo.
I'm right here with Kenny and the rest of our crew in the bottom left.

Here is one of Kenny going to go get another coke Slurpee. I swear he spent over 100 bucks on Slurpees this weekend

Lol, I was right there when he was looking at Poteet's 300-series! I was going to say hi to him then but he had half his body inside the engine compartment, lol! I figured I'd try to catch him later, but didn't remember seeing him again. He was saying something about wanting a pulley or pump like that car had. Is that you in the baseball cap?

Funny that you guys were right in front of me at the ceremony!

Just a heads-up. If I ever meet any of you guys and then act like I don't know you next time I see you - I'm horrible with names and faces. I can meet someone and not know their name ten minutes later, or not recognize them. It takes me a few times. If you have a sweet vehicle, I'll probably remember it in great detail though.

Half his body? I'm sure that is an totally accurate. The springs would not be able to handle that. But we were discussing a water pump that has an internal alternator to clean up an engine compartment.

Ya that is me in the ball cap.
