Default hydro boost or??????

building my 69 as soon as it gets out of paint jail and get the lt-4 motor back from wegner performance.my question is should I go to a stock type of master booster or go to a hydro boost system. any info would be greatly appreciated.

The only issue I know of with hydroboost is that they can cause your brakes to be overly sensitive, they don’t modulate like a manual brake system would. But for a nice driver, who wants a light, powerful pedal it is a great system.

I will be running the hydro boost setup. Jeff has it in his car and I am very impressed with it. No issues what so ever. Buy it, install it and you'll be happy.

Given that you’re running an LT4, are you using the Holley/Stielow-pioneered solution to mounting a power steering pump? It may be obvious but hydro boost requires power steering.

Default brakes

wegner performance produced my front drive, so ill have power steering.they make the front drive for for dry sump or wet sump.
