I gotta say I had a blast out there last weekend! What started as some easy passes to qualify "Tenacity" for Muscle Machine of the Year, turned into an addiction. Were going to see what we can do to get a shop " test vehicle" together!

Great times out at Del Mar this weekend, had a blast trying everything I could to get the Cuda under the magical 1 minute mark, finally did it on the very last run Saturday! Sunday was cloudy, but the new Mustang ran hard, many thanks to Goodguys and all the sponsers for a memorable time for three generations of my family, my Dad and Son really enjoyed themselves also.

Hey Tom, way to go this weekend. You were really driving the wheels off that Mustang!

I too had an absolute blast out there this weekend. The car just "worked" and I could concentrate on driving better and a few tweaks here and there on the car. Great to have Brett & the RideTech gang there for suspension tuning advice. Met lots of new folks and some of the usual suspects. Great to be a small part of Rob (& co) efforts to raise some serious money for the Wounded Warriors project. Serious congrats man - just outstanding! Great to spend a little time with Rodney & Suzy. Same with Mr Lum. Thanks for the help guys. You guys are an inspiration driving the wheels off your cars all weekend! Cheryl and the crew at JetHot - thanks for playing host all weekend, letting me set up shop alongside your trailer and make adjustments. Top people!

Steve - was great to meet you and see you driving that pretty Camaro hard. It was one of my fav first-gen's at SEMA this year. Well done. Lots of details - nice build. Get that shop car done and let's have some fun!

Tom - sorry we didn't meet up but I can tell you I watched every pass you made in the Mustang and I could not get over how fast it was. Someone told me it was stock. Well done man - look forward to seeing more.

Matt - get back to work lol. We want to see you back out there! Quick or Ron will finish before you and then you'll never live it down :-)

G.

Thanks, beutiful car you have and good talking to Dick at BOS as well, as far as a shop beater, Its already in the works. I've had a pro-street Vega for 30 years that I was trying to figure out what to do with. Since I already have a 7 second Nova, theres not much use for another "straightliner"

Thanks Matt and Gandalf, it is amazing how fast that new 5.0 can go right out of the box. All I have changed is the springs. It helped driving the track in the leaning tower of Cuda for two days prior to Sunday!

I’m not the smartest guy at the track … but when he goes home … I’m still there testing, tuning, learning & getting faster.

I hope to get a schedule of possible events IN JANUARY after I take the car apart, do a few upgrades to make her faster, Both Suzy and I will run the camaro together, and hopefully I will have her little race wagon done for a few months of test and tune that will be crazy, supporting 2 cars
