Default Identifying brackets on 2014 Camaro rear seat

This may be an odd question, but I hate not knowing why an item has been engineered into a part. I'm installing late model Recaro Camaro seats into my 69 Firebird. The rear mounting bar has 4 brackets that I can't seem to figure out why they're there. I'm assuming the brackets are for a car seat. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Sims!

They're for a car seat. Installing a car seat requires two anchor attachment points. That's why there's 4 anchor points, for 2 car seats in the rear.
