Default l92 heads

Will the l92 heads of a 6.2l work on a ls6 motor?any help would greatly be appreciated.

Pretty sure they will not work. L92's are square port and LS1/LS6's are cathedral ports. I think you require a 4.0" bore or larger for these heads.

L92 heads require a 4" bore or bigger, because of the intake vale being 2.16".

It's only the bore diameter that prevents them from working on any engine smaller than 6.0 liters. The heads also require a different intake but otherwise fit on all LSx engines. You don't even need different headers so long as you start with a 1-3/4" primary tube design header.
