Default Kalis Camaro 2.0

Whats up everyone. Been a while since i posted here. Hope all is well with everyone!
Since the original build of my car, https://lateral-g.net/forums/showthr...ighlight=kalis
is super old, i figured i'd make a new post showing the new upgrades, paint, body mods, ect.

I started standing half mile racing this car a few years ago. Ended up pushing 1290 rwhp out of the LS1, and going 192 in the half. Still manual trans and no funny stuff like traction control. Ran the last motor for 4 years at that power level.(Pump gas 93 oct daily, but c16 for the races) I Found most MPH in getting rid of the 4-5 shift by changing the 3:43 rear end to a 3:08 and revving the motor to 7600 rpm.(in 4th) Power dropped off over 7k, but it was enough to get the extra 8mph on the big end.
We saw the car on the VBOX hitting 201 just past the half mile.. so... we tore it apart. Added some more cage, BTR helped with a cam/valve train package, and Garrett came in with a pair of GTX3584RS's. My little bro Mike made some killer headers for it as well!

Looking to have roughly the same power.. just extend it to 8k rpm and we think it'll go 200 in the half.
While tearing into the car... I decided to have Autocraft here in Grand Rapids MI, do some body work and put some new paint on her. Did some different stuff in the interior, and BOOM!! She came out amazing.

Looks like i'll be pulling out the current engine management and going with a Holley Dominator as well.

Heres some newer pics before she goes back under the knife (re wire)... I missed the half mile event this year.. but looking to get it racing next spring!!

Wow I really like how this came out. Body mods aren't my thing, but this combination just works. Great color/wheels too.

Congrats on posting up some great speeds! Thanks for updating us, too. It's always great to see these cars get used like a car should be.

Nice to see you still enjoying it Josh and the upgrades are important. 200 MPH is no joke -- you need safety stuff to be "right" at those speeds!

Now the question is -- will Lila get a mini version of a Texas Mile car?? LOL

I'm a fan of body mods and I like them. Also, what are your wheel specs please?
