Default 10 or 12 U Pick

Just got quoted $1200 to rebuild my 10 bolt to 3:73 posi. Have 67 Camaro/LS1/T56 project on the go. Considering buying 12 Bolt to slide inbetween my 19x10 C6 wheels. Which one?

We do a lot of moser rears. You can get into a Moser that will handle the 500HP for a about $2100 to your door in the lower 48.

Your 8.2" 10 bolt can hold about 400 HP, so if you never plan to go much more horsepower then stock you should be OK.

Default Gears

What gear ratio would you suggest, 3:73, 4:11?

I like my true trac alot. Even with excessive tire spin the car stays managable. Bought mine from Frank.

That depends on tire size, trans gearing, and some other stuff, but most likely 3:73 unless you want something different

3.73 is a great gear and what I am running. I would urge you to get on some calculators and input your cars particulars and speeds you run the most. Classic Motorsports Groups has one.

Default rear end

PM sent. Why not the 8.5 10 bolt? it will handle as much as the 12 bolt will. and 1/2 the price to build - thats why GM stopped building the 12 bolts. not needed any more the 8.5" is GM's HD rear end since then. I build and sell 8.5" rears - about 1000$ delivered to lower 48 states
