I did a CA legal swap on a 1993 RX7 with a 2002 Camaro donor back in 2005-2006 (before the E-Rods).

It was not that bad, all things considered. Only real PITA was the evap system for the fuel tank. I ended up fabricating an adapter to put the OEM Camaro fuel bucket into the RX7 tank.

It may take you a few trips to the BAR Referee to get every little detail ironed out; however, I'd not hesitate to give it a go seeing how well everything fits in the truck.

One wildcard - check to see if the donor is of the same category/class as the truck in the eyes of CARB. IIRC, you can't put a medium duty motor in a passenger vehicle and vice versa.

So what mufflers did you switch to to get rid of the drone
? What was the previous mufflers used?
