Default Let there be light (LED lights) in the garage

Just saw the Costco thread about flooring, and wondering if anyone got their LED lights to replace regular T8 lights.

I am just getting back in garage and project mode, and this is a great setup for anyone looking into improving light on their garage. No more issues with cold weather or flashing in the garage, plus compared with regular T8's they are a night and day (no pun intended) difference. The rated lumens do not tell the whole story, they emit a very clean and uniform white light.

These are the ones I am referring to and they are now $32 at Costco per set:

Thanks for sharing, I think I might go get a membership because that's a great deal. I've used the Feit 40 and 60W A19 LED's to replace incandescents and they work very well for how cheap they are so I am guessing these will work well also.

We installed a bunch of 8' LED strip lights in a data center and when you look up at them they damn near blind you. They where high dollar lights. I have to get over to Costco, I have not bought lights for my shop yet,but I have to be able to hardwire them.

Man, the wife is the only one with a Costco card and she's out of town until Saturday night. Hope they still have this deal on Sunday...

I need about 10 of those for my shop...

The rebate runs out 2/22. The main thing is whether your local Costco carries them or not.
