Best place to get QA1 Coil over front shocks?

I have been road track abusing the living heck out of my 69 Camaro for 4-5 years straight and finally need front shocks. I must have jumped the front end off the ground at least 35 times last summer during my Grattan event. I currently have QA1 adjustable shocks in the rear and they work great. So I want QA1 for the front now.

Anyone know where I can get a good deal on the front QA1 Coil over shocks?

You really do not want the coil over conversion especially if your getting air. You will knock the bottom out of them quick.

A good set of Hotchkis Springs and QA1 shocks would be perfect. We got ya covered.

I would really like them to be adjustable so I can dial in the ride height as hight or as low as I want. I could always try to take it a little easier on the jumps.
I also need some poly body mounts since I blew one of those out jumping so much last year. One of the videos from my event last year.

after seeing your video's last year I went out to grattan to watch and it was awesome. I gotta get my car out there hopefully this year.

as for the coil overs I have been looking at them too and the cheapest place I found is www.autofabracecars.com there not a sponsor here but they do have the cheapest price I found. for my car they are 409 and summit's price is 449.

You will kill coil overs dead in a week. there simply is not enough spring and stored energy there.

Would an AFCO type adjuster work for you? Then you can use a real spring and a good adjustable shock and still do some tweaking to the height and for proper corner weighting. I haven't heard good things about coilover conversions on 1st gens mainly due to the small springs used like Frank says. I'm running Hotchkis BBC springs in my bird with Koni's and I love them so far.

Maybe you should look at the solid bushings, I'm running GW's with their subframe connectors welded in, and there is zero squeaks or other noise...just a nice solid feel. Solid bushings allow the suspension to do it's job, rather than letting the entire subframe move in relation.
