How do you get the horn to work on a MOMO or any other aftermarket wheel install? The column is a GM tilt, 69 Camaro. Anyone else installed something similar?

I'm using a GRANT on my current project, and it comes with a variety of different horn button options you can purchase for your application.

What about the internal wiring and horn switch? Similar to stock or does grant offer a setup to work with their steering wheels?

Most aftermarket wheels require an adapter kit to be mounted to many GM columns. Depending on which companies wheel you are using you may need one or more kits which come with provisions and instructions for wiring the horn. If you haven't removed the original wheel yet you'll also probably need a steering wheel puller which is a cheap tool you can pick up at local parts outlets.

I have a MOMO wheel mounted on a 70 Firebird tilt column. I have a MOMO to Grant adapter and a Grant adapter because MOMO didn't have a direct install kit for my car and my old wheel was a Grant anyway so I already had the Grant adapter.
