Being a LS newbie I'm looking for some help from guys with LS motors in second gen camaros. I purchased a LSX 454 this weekend for a smoking deal and now need to get all the neccessary parts needed to put it in the car. I'm looking for the best parts available. I will be using a carbed setup, with the Edelbrock intake and 870 CFM carb
-Front accessory drive, need power steering, A/C. COncept one, MArch, etc??
-Oil Pan, ATS ??
-Electronics needed?? Coils, mounts, MSD controllers, etc??
-anything else???
Like I said complete LSX newbie so all help is appreciated!! thanks

head over and do some searching on the second gen site. They would be doing exactly what you want to do.

I'm also going through this for my build. I'm leaning towards a Wegner accessory drive, heard good things about them. You'll need to figure out what reluctor wheel the 454 has for the msd 24 or 58 tooth. I've heard a f-body oil pan works but have not got far enough to mock mine up. I'm not sure what people are using for coils, some have bolt holes through them which would be easiest to make mounts for. The easiest thing to do would be call ATS and order it all from them (mounts, pan, coil brackets etc.). I'm very curious to see what you come up with that is an awesome car you have, soon to be even better.

Cheapest place I've found:

Can anyone beat it?
