On Sun 9th Jan Street Machine had the car for a photo shoot. We got all set up and it rained, so under cover we went. While waiting for a new location, I took with my cheapo 8MP camera these shots....not as good as the professionals but hey...

Looks great. What door handles are those? Do you have any close ups of them?

They are off a 2004 Holden Caprice. I believe Impala's in the US used the same handle.

I only have close up pics while in construction (although could walk out to the garage and snap some more)

where did you get your grille and h/lamp trim. thx, rm

looks awesome, but the tail pipes look a little weird, did you think of running them trough the rear valance? just a thought. great stance.

what r u running for a drive train? thx

Grille I can't remember hunted for ages and found this on some little known website, they only make a few, although I have seen some recently that are similar, I think Rick's may have them ??? Best to have a look. I have no paper work from where I bought it and it was 2 years ago. All headlights and trim are just repo stuff but massaged a bit and painted up

I think on the tailpipes it a like it or love it...I'm not a fan of dumps and I like seeing the pipes out the back, I was debating putting them right in the middle or where they are. Did think about cutting a half circle in the valance but again I actually like this look.

Stance isn't quite right yet, looks OK here, but side on the front needs to come down an inch, it sits lower in the rear right now....but can't as it already drags the pipes just near the header flange, and I can't get the pipes any higher they are already tucked way up...

Drive train =
Merlin III BBC taken out to 634 Cubes (not dynoed yet but estimated at 850 HP at crank in current config, probably 900 when tunnel ram goes on soon)
TH400 with 3000 stall
Fabbed 9" with Strange Detroit Locker with 3.55 gears, 35 spline billet axles (moser), full floating hubs
330mm Discs up front and 300mm Discs down rear
Hydroboost
AME Fabbed front end
Coilovers all round
3" exhaust with H pipe and single magnaflows on each side
Runs 98 octane pump gas

Looks great, Chris! I know how long you've been working on it so I'm stoked to see it done and getting shot for magazines! Good on ya!
