Got a 70 Pontiac 350 YU block..a good runner with #11 heads. Have a set of #62 4bbl heads with 2.11 and 1.77 valves with 72cc chambers. I know the comp will be high with today's pump gas but figure a thicker head gasket may get the ratio down enough.
Will there be a problem with the big valve heads on this 350 block as far as the valves contacting the block...What cam would you recommend?
thanks in advanced...

compression would be fine. I run 62's on 400's. 455 w/ 62's creates an issue.
Dont know what car or what your goals are to select cam. budget? roller / flat tappet
the old H-O racing HC-02 (RA3/ 71 -72 HO ) would be nice. a touch on the aggressive side for a350 but manageable.
need more info . prob best to talk to cam manuf or place you were to buy the cam. Just dont get a chevy cam. will cost more, but worth it.
