I bought a Prodigy Bar from Frank back in 2010, which I just got to putting on a couple months ago all to find out it doesn't have the right bushing for the bottom of the QA1 shocks or spacers for the top and bottom bolts. I have tried for the last two months to get Frank to send me the right parts but thats turning out to be a lost cause.
Would anyone know of the part number for the lower bushing where the QA1 connects to the Axle? If anyone has a couple pics that would help to.

Thanks

It's really a Air Bar so I agree that Ridetech likely can help you. You can source it through QA1 and Allstar performance as well.

Golden Pilot,
You may have a Ridtech Airbar or you may have a Chassisworks gBar. Frank sells both versions.

If your suspension looks like the one below I may be able to help you. If so, give me a call at the number below. Ext 247.

Thanks guys I did call Ridetech about a month ago but they said they don't deal with QA1 shocks and couldn't help me. It's the Ridetech airbar that I have. The top bushing which is 1/2" fits the bolt but slides back and forth so it needs spacers or a wider bushing and the bottom bushing which is 1/2" needs to be I believe 5/8 to fit the bottom bolt and possibly spacers but I'm not sure.

you have to do these pics as attachments since they're in your computer and not on the net. Scroll down to the manage attachments button and upload them.

Take my advice on the spacer sourcing and ridetech will sell you the lower shock stud in 5/8. I just bought one two months ago.

The lower stud in the image is 5/8".

Here's the lowdown on an AirBar:
Upper Mount: 1/2" double shear mount; 1.25" wide
Lower Mount: 5/8" single shear mount; 1.25" wide (1.375" wide without washers)

NOTE: Minimum diameter for single shear mount is 5/8" on loaded applications!

It appears as though the QA1 shocks you have use a 1/2" ID bearing X 1.0" wide.

Our coil overs and Shockwaves use a bearing with a standard 1.0" OD and a 5/8" ID. We then use spacers /adapters to match the mounting hardware and match the almost industry standard 1.25" mounting width.

To do this correctly you need to purchase bearings and spacers from us.
Bearing (if your shocks use a 1" bearing bore):

Please explain why you sell 1/2" single sheer studs. What application is not loaded.

That is pretty darn cool. A problem with a part, could have been two different vendors, a rep from each one hopped in and said "I can help with that" and the problem got solved. Am I the only one that thinks that is awesome?

I had the same issue with mine when I got it. I had half of the correct spacers, sleeves and hardware with the kit. Not sure what happened, but I sourced matching parts at a local hardware store and handled it myself.
I ran the QA-1's for a summer and found them too harsh. I swapped them out for Ridetech remote resevoir coilovers and they have made the car much more enjoyable to drive. The Ridetech parts came with new hardware and they slid on like butter.

I think it is commendable that the two vendors stepped up to help. What is more telling to me is who did NOT step up.
