I believe the Goodguys host hotel is the CROWN PLAZA. Great place!
I'll verify this tomorrow.

Go on Goodguys web site and they list all the local hotels and their locations. There is a map of the area. There is also links to the hotels which show you their facilities. All the info you need is there.

As said earlier, the Crown Plaza host hotel is sold out way in advance. The host hotel is really nice to go to because they have stuff going on all weekend. There are other hotels near it though. You should look at the Interstate 71 and Dublin Granville RD. interchange for others. There are also some hotels a few interchanges south from the host hotel. I don't know your transportation status but downtown Columbus is also a good place to stay. There are restaurants and bars on High street all over. Downtown is also very close to the fairgrounds where the show is held. It is pretty easy to get around Columbus in my opinion, but anywhere around the show can be a little crazy that weekend. If you have any questions let me know, I lived in Columbus for 10 years.

Tonner, you will be OK there. It is dead nuts downtown Columbus. Not much going on down there on the weekend. Not a lot of restaurant options.
Easton Town Center is a great place, Dublin, Worthington, Gahanna, all good and safe locations. Don't let the mileage fool you, the fairgrounds are easy to get to and everything is easy to get to.

That's not a horrible place to stay. There is a palce across the Street called Tip Top, good place to eat with a good selection of beers. There is also an Italian place beside it that is good, around the corner is Mitchells steakhouse, it is very expensive but very good also. A good area on the weekends is the short north. It is about 3/4 of a mile north on high st. Where you are staying is only about a half a block from high st, the people in the hotel will know what you are talking about if you ask about the short north. I would suggest going upn to the host hotel(Crown Plaza) on fri or sat night, it's its own car show with some of the really nice cars there. They usually have music playing with food and drinks to buy. Hope you have a good time:goodguys:

You have to hit the host hotel ( Crowne Plaza ) on Friday or Saturday evening, it's another show, music, food, and cars.

As good as the actual show itself!
