Anybody know a good source to get an LSX454 fender badge made for a 69 Camaro?

If you really want to get fancy, try these guys. Not too expensive either considering they are custom made. http://www.billetbadges.com/

Thanks guys. Appreciate the ideas. I've been struggling with the LSX454 w/cross flags badge since it feels a bit too much like a corvette badge versus going on the fender on my Camaro. How do you guys feel about that? The billet badges.com option is very intriguing. I need to come up with a few designs and get a quote.

We had the same need for our LSA fender badges. The billet badge option is nice but we wanted a badge that had the same contours front to back and top to bottom as the original oem stock badges did. We ended up designing our own on the computer and then 3D printing them.

Not a cheap option but it was exactly what we wanted. We also designed in a relief in the back of the letters to effectively hide the double stick tape we used to attach them.

Finally, we also printed a matching template to position the letters in exact location when installing them which made perfect alignment a no-brainer.

Here is a pic of the first badges we made this way. They are the same thickness the oem badges were. We are now printing new ones that are a little thinner so they will better match the thickness of the side marker light bezels next to them .

Jay,

For me at least, it would be a case of 'too much info' ...putting more text on the fenders than was originally there. :)

I might go what Chevy did to get their point across on the '69 Z-28's.

Say in this case 'LS/X' on the grill in the same style as the 'Z-28' badge and '454' on the cowl induction hood in the same style as the 302 numbers or use the original '454' numbers Chevy used.

I agree. I continue to circle back to the OEM Chevy 454 "factory" numbers to replace the existing fender numbers. People will know there is something different about the car but would not likely assume there is an LSX under the hood. Appreciate the input for sure!

I am somewhat interested in some 416 badges for my Camaro (says 350 currently, which was just swapped out). Trying to figure out best option for this as well. These gave me some ideas.

Check out trimparts.com for individual numbers to create the 416. I've been looking for a white 454 logo to replace the 350 badges. Thinking of buying the red or individual black numbers and paint them to match.

Or...

Morris Classic Concepts makes some chrome looking emblems in any numerical design as well. Look pretty cool. I'm going to give them a call tomorrow.

Anybody worked with either of these companies?

Found some 69 Camaro white 454 fender badges on Camaro Central. Any feedback on this direction versus doing a custom LSX logo?
