I would have thought you were the king of shipping with all the cars you go through. Wish I could help.

Have you tried Exotic cat transport? That company is based out of Orlando. Most shippers are busy for the Hot Rod power tour this month.

Horseless Carriage picked up a 68 I just sold a few days ago in San Antonio. There aren't many willing to go too South but these guys did.

These guys are local to me, I've never used them but my dad had a truck brought back from south Florida a couple year ago with no problems and they were affordable.

Consider Robert Lowe of Lowe Marr Transport. He moved my car from Phoenix to St. George and did a great job!

Last November, I was having a hard time finding transport for my car even though everybody and their brother were hauling cars through Phoenix on their way to SEMA. Rob stepped up and was very responsive. His is a small private company so you'd be supporting the little guy.

Also, I had a hard time finding a carrier (even the big companies) who would insure the car for its value during the transport. Not so with Rob.

Two thumbs up!!

A friend of mine posted this on his facebook page, he lives near Tampa. Not sure of the route of truck, but if it has to go through Pensacola, Fla. There has been 15 to 20 inches of rain fallen in 24 hours in Pensacola.

They should definately be able to help you. I got a quote from them once and decided to go with someone else, but yet Exotic was calling me every other day to see if they could get my business.

Buy a bunch of flat rate boxes. Cut and arrange as necessary. Add packing tape. Win.

Thanks, being going a little "old school". I just found and bought back my original 1992 454 SS that I sold in 2004, when I bought a new Lightning. After ten years, I found it in Colorado and between 2 owners only 6k miles were put on it. 34k total! After I got it back I decided I wanted to get another Lightning. It's amazing that there are not many "nice" ones left. I found a 2004 from a 67 year old owner that had 2 of them. I'll post up some pics when I get it..

Who did you decide to use for transport? I just had a pretty poor experience with Upscale Auto Transport and need a shipper for July.

Most of the lightings around here are salvage title, they are hard to find for not being very old.

That is awesome.
One of the guys I'm in the car club with, has one. Bought it not too long ago. I haven't seen it in person, but it looks great from the photos and people in the club that knew the original owner said the truck was babied.
Congrats and looking forward to the pics.
