Besides Momo and some of the more expensive alternatives what is out there?

I'm looking for around 14" for my 69 Camaro, and since I don't have tilt yet, I'd like a D shaped wheel. That should give me about 2" more clearance than the stocker so I can get my legs under the wheel easier. I'd rather have the D than go smaller yet in diameter as I have a quick ratio 3rd gen box.

I'd like to stick under $200 if possible and have a working horn.

This is probably where everyone tells me I'm nuts if I think I can find one cheap. :peepwall:

Is this a decent wheel that would work well?

grant you should be able to order from your local oreillys and view it in person. Personally I think the diameter is too small but since your looking for a 14", it may work for you.

I was thinking the original was around 15" Is it actually 16"? I guess I'll have to go and measure mine.

Yeah, I'd rather just go a wee bit smaller but the options are a bit limited when looking for a D shaped wheel.

The difference in feel between a 14" and 15" is huge, especially without power steering. I had a 14" on my 67 Nova SS with heidt's front end and did not like it until I changed to a 15", that was even after I changed it over to power steering, but every vehicle will feel different. You may have to compromise size to get a "D" wheel.

The difference in feel between a 14" and 15" is huge

and the diff between a 13" (330mm) and a 14" (350mm) is even bigger.

My car came with a D shaped Sparco 330mm and I switched to a round 350mm Sparco and loved the change. Didn't expect it to feel so much different but it does/did.

For me a 15" would be too big but to each his own.
