Hello everyone. Wanted to see if I could get some help. I've been a member here for a while and have learned an invaluable amount of info.

I've spent the last 4.5 years building my 69 Camaro. The normal goods... mini tub, g-link rear, ls motor, supercharger, t56 magnum trans, Wilwood brakes, etc.. Basically I've ended up with a sorta 'show touring' car.

So I've entered into the Vortech SEMA giveaway competition and made it to the final 10. I need votes to help win an fd am getting beat pretty bad right now. If you could take a minute to vote I would greatly appreciate it.

I'll back you with a vote, but... you gotta start posting here more. Seriously... I feel left out not having seen a build thread.

Thank you guys for the votes!!

Jr,
Yes, it's a stock subfamily with Speed Tech A-arms and coilovers. An aftermarket frame was a bit outta budget.

Spiffav8,
Yeah I wish I had taken the time for a build thread. Kept thinking about it but never got it going. :-(

Done, but I will say the picture they used is horrible!!! Plus your getting beat by some fugly cars!! A mustang for one :smiley_smack:

I think those guys have more friends then you?? Like when you go to local car show and the POS Honda with the spray can paint wins because he has 50 of his friends there.

Come on guys, he got like 9 votes today, the new mustang got like 300 votes!! What's wrong with this, we can't let a new car beat out a pro touring car?? :flag2:

I also shared it on FB!

Voted for you. Though I'm a Mustang guy, can't vote for a newer stang. A lot of ground needed to catch that thing.

Here's a few pics while I was building the car.

It needed a new floor pan, firewall, trunk pan, and tail panel. The front clip also needed to be replaced.

So the pic of the bare shell was after the sheet metal work and when it went in for primer.

Rear suspension is an Alston g-link with 335/30/18 tires.

I've taken it to a road course once to just see what it was like. Car did good and it was an awesome experience. It's been dyno tuned and does a little over 700 hp at the wheels.

I did all the worky self except the paint and tuning.

Again , looks really good. Is that the factory vortech kit for the corvette? 700hp is no joke.

It's an A & A Corvette bracket kit. And the accessories are from the GM kit which uses the corvette layout.
