Hello Lateral-G community!! Thank you for the introduction post camcojb, as we ("I") get items around to post on the forums - here is some company history for you to check out. (sorry for the long read in advance, I want to make sure we get all the good stuff in here.)

John was Chief Engineer, Advanced Chassis-Vehicle Systems at Navistar (International Harvester) and in 2012 the company moved operations to Chicago, IL. John and his family chose to stay in Indiana and to pursue his dream of developing aftermarket performance components with his engineering consulting company, Hoosier Performance Engineering. While working on some projects with DTE Performance (prior Dynotech Engineering) of Fort Wayne, IN, the owner of DTE asks John if he would be interested in buying out his business. In November 2013, John and Rhonda Fehring bought DTE Performance, a Corvette performance speed shop.

A few months into ownership, there was a transition of it being Corvette only performance into street car performance, focusing on ride development systems and components. John has been heavily involved in ride technology and development in past careers and consulting work in many of the main major shock systems on the market. His experience as Senior Project Engineer for Delphi Chassis gave him the ability to work with all ride controls products; shock designs, algorithm development, ride tuning & system integration. We are applying that to the business today.

In December of 2014 we purchased a Pronello Shock Dynamometer and became their North American dealer for Pronello systems. Developed by a racing family of engineers in Argentina, the Pronello design has zero lash system unique to Scotch-yoke shock dynos. The system also has the ability to run out in the 35 in/sec range compared to the typical 12 in/sec of other models and is ready to service all forms of suspension systems. We also corner weight and scale to racing specs needed to get the optimum performance out of suspension.

Who's at HoosierPE?
We are a small force - but with big ambitions and dreams...

Co-owner and wife Rhonda handles the CFO duties and customer phones calls and is our mom of the shop, Hoosier Mama!! She also competes in autocross events with the shop car in ladies class.

Scott Lewis, our Lead Engineering Designer. He’s a past master technician and skilled wrench, former Porsche, Audi, and Mazda Master Technician and Quality Assurance Analyst, and Inventory Control Analyst for Mazda. Scott is an avid SCCA autocrosser and has developed a stock car into one heck of a CP class runner and has scored as high as second place in the SCCA National Championship.

Jason Massey, General Manager and jack of all trades. He primarily helps keep the company focused on projects and futures for the business, covering online and real world marketing from website to social media. From time to time Jason helps in the daily grind of wrenching on bolt on service or bigger projects in the shop. You will usually find him with a camera in hand taking epic photographs or motivating the crew.

Ryan Procise is a recent new member of the team, helps Scott with day to day duties with engineering designs and wrench work. He comes from the land of AWD and has a vast knowledge in the Subaru community. Having a college degree in business management and the ability to stretch a dollar a mile, Ryan helps keep HoosierPE on track with staying lean and mean. He is currently in the middle of an 2.5 RS Subaru build to be a track car and a front runner in SMS classed autocross events.

He pilots a supercharged Mini Cooper S in autocross and some HPDE events. Recently making the trip with his wife and 1 year old son to the Tail of the Dragon.

Lastly, but most importantly is owner John Fehring, Hoosier Daddy!! John took on a fulltime position as Director of Engineering for Supreme Corporation to keep the HoosierPE dream fresh and alive. Handing over the reins and duties to Jason was not a fun choice, but an important one to keep his passions and dreams going with the company. John juggles these duties on a daily basis and is one of our prime decision makers on many of our designed products and activities at the shop. Thank goodness for the internet to keep us all focused!! He is our main driver in the T/A for racing events.

In closing, we are very excited about our ability to support sponsorship with Lateral-G and will continue to work hard helping the community, getting products they need to be the best in their competition. Here at Hoosier Performance Engineering, we are passionate and committed to engineering aftermarket components in the industry and look forward to any questions or challenges you would have for us. To start with, look for big things coming with our new partners AFCO Racing Shocks. We have the final design of our 4th Gen F-body double adjustable street/strip shocks done and wrapping up the C5 and C6 system this week. Once we have completed that design, we move focus towards the strut systems, starting with the Subaru market.

You will see us slowly getting more active on the forums and each of our team members will have their name as a username in front of HoosierPE. Fill free to pm, call, or email any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. Thank you for your time on our long introduction and we wish the best to you and yours.
