Awesome project, a lot of people on here will dig it. The Corvette in the background is really wild too. Who do you buy vette bodies like that from?

Thanks! Should be a wild ride when its finished. Meant to say 2 SEAT gt1. It has their modern GT1 suspension with 4 coilovers on weight jacks. All using pull rods and spring arms. Uses a quick change rear axle and 3 link. And you can get that Corvette body from Racefab its one of their TransAm bodies. Will keep pics posted!

Very cool! Reminds me of the one Mike Davis built a few years ago. I want to say his was on an in-house built Roush copy, but my memory isn't what it used to be! Can't wait to watch this progress!

Interested in seeing more detailed photos of the front suspension and uprights.

Very cool. Looks like the ride height will be low to say the least. Glad to see a '69 FB used in an interesting way. Will be looking in to get some ideas and inspiration for mine.
Is there going to be a splitter incorporated into the front lower valance?

It looks like maybe yours is going to be a bit more faithful to the original siloette of the car, but I'm glad to see more of these pony-car/GT1 hybrids coming to life!

Wow thanks! Yeah once I get more funding I should be able to start moving more along. Want to use a 358 Nascar engine and trans. Or possibly one of the fuel injected ford crate racing engines. :G-Dub: hahaha

It will set with 2" ride height, so definitely low

I would like to keep it as close as possible but I will have modify the wheel openings quite a bit. Hopefully not so much it takes away the look I want.

Yes there will, the lower valance is also the intake for the radiator and i will put a splitter there but not much. Want to keep the look of the original trans am racers there and not so much like a pikes peak car
