Sorry for the dumb thread description. I can not figure out how to change it. Any help would be nice.

About the car:
I bought this car 3 years ago with the intentions of doing someting with it. Long story short things havent gone as planned. now that I have a house with a garage things will be moving along. The car is a michigan car with rust. car does not run. Car has a column shifter and floor shifter, this may have someting to do with it not running. lol

a little about me:
I'm 35 and a bricklayer in the metro detroit area. This is my first car I have built/restored. My plan is to do as much of the work myself as possible.

Plan for the build:
ls2/t56 combo
sc&c touring-plus suspension package
chevelle 12 bolt
wheels(undecided)

Great to see another classic Pontiac. An excellent candidate. Enjoy the journey. If you need anything for it in regards to OEM components be sure to check out amesperf/max performance.com it is the old Performance Years.com web site. Ames Performance now owns Performance Years but the forum over there will be a great resource of information for you. Make sure you get the Ames parts catalog for your project, excellent products. Thanks for the info Tim. I have been doing tons of reading and research. I have ordered a couple different catolgs. I have a national parts depot local that may make things easy.

You can make this a very good looking car!

I'm somewhat biased as my Mom had a '69 Lemans that could have been considered my real drivers ed car. :D Dukes of Hazzard had no influence.....honest. :underchair:

Your tires are quite the oxymoron too. :D

71 Lemans?

It's titled as a 70, but has the 71 front end. This is how i purchased it. If it had the 70 front end i wouldn't have bought it. I like the 68 &69 front ends, but there is something about the 70 i just don't like.
