Anybody know if any OEM oil pans will fit nicely and will not hang down too low on a 69 Nova with LS swap? Or am I going to have to aftermarket or homemeade?
The car is going to be extremely low so ground clearance is a big issue. Any help would be great, THANKS

Not sure if it fits your bill but I have a 302-1 Holley pan with oil drains I need to part ways with. Touched the rack on my DSE frame so went with MAST.

MAST and Holley both make good swap pans. Same as a Camaro for your Nova.
MAST is baffled.

I had the "muscle car" pan and it hung 3" below my cross member on my 69 Nova. I got the 302-2 pan with baffles and it fit like a glove.

Ok, Nova and Camaro in this case, being a 69' share the same subframe, correct?

Holley not only makes a good pan but a complete swap system with all the components working together.

yes, same subframe.
I thought so. So....I'd run what the first gen Camaro guys are running. There are a couple first gen builds on here if you do a search...:sarcasm_smiley:

Depending on your crossmember location, you might want to check into the F-body Camaro pan (GM parts). I found it to offer the greatest clearance of any, including the aftermarket pans mentioned above. I found a great deal on it (including the pan, windage tray, dipstick, filter, and all necessary gaskets/bolts) at some dealership in Kansas or Missouri. I wish I could remember the name of the dealer, but I think it was owned by a NASCAR guy whose name is escaping me . . .

Yeah I'm really surprised the first gen camaros don't get more love on here and within the industry....lmao
