Wasn't quite sure where to put this if not mods please move to correct place if you have any questions please ask I will be happy to share!! Keep in mind these were made with regualr hand tools I have ordered the correct tools to make them with precision cuts and whatnot!

I know this applies to the bullet mirrors some of you guys are using on you 1st gen camaro/firebird or any other thing you want to install these on......Hope it helps some, I am about to start my build on my PT 83 Cutlass cruiser wagon (think Malibu wagon) and I wanted to incorporate some of the ideas that have been swirling around in my head that I wanted to try I scrounged up some pennies and bought the supplies needed to make my turn signal mirrors like on the newer cars..... all in all it took about an hour to put what I had in my head to the mirror!

They are brighter than I expected actually, I still have to mount them permanently but you get the idea. I also only used 3 led's I am going to remake the lens to hold 4.

That's slick! I dig it. Always good to add a little more safety/visibility to our cars.

I've always thought about this. I like the modern idea of it. Glad to see someone actually did it.

IMHO, the mirror looks odd that far back. It would look MUCH BETTER shoved to the front.

Agreed but that is the factory location of them I have some mirrors from a 3rd gen fbody (full electric) that I am going to mount and do the exact same thing!

Can you tell us how you did it? Where and what supplies to do it? How did you hold the light strip in? ....
