I used a set on my 2nd gen. Fit was good but I thought it hung lower than it needed to.
I also don't care for the tone inside the car, it's not loud but the drone is seriously irritating at certain speeds. I don't hear it at freeway speeds.

Thanks,do you have any pics of this system on your car,I had planned on running the resonators because I had heard it would take care of any drone sound on the road.

I bought the 1337 2” primaries ... I have them on the LSA and I’m going to sit the motor on the DS subframe on Saturday and check the clearance...

They are polished nicely - I’m not sure why they didn’t Tig around the entire flange ? [emoji848][emoji848]

I completely gave up with the Holley blackheart stuff- sent the crossmember back, the headers and the mounts.

BTW - since I went with Detroit speed headers and spent the money I should have ... what exhaust are you running? I am looking for 3” stainless and I am trying to stay away from custom..... Thank You in advance !

I als have the DSE subframe and headers but do not have exhaust yet,I was hoping to get some good feedback on the Holley Blackheart kits to maybe use it instead of doing custom.I was just at Detroit Speed and there is an 18 month wait for them to build exhaust system. There are no good exhaust installers in my area.

Ah I didn’t even know DS had plans to make exhausts ..... I’m still far away from completing this gem, it might be worth holding out for...

Jeff, what did you end up doing for exhaust? - I just finished putting the Holley Blackheart system on the Camaro I'm building and could offer up every hurdle I encountered!!

I’m considering the Holley blackheart exhausts system for my 67 Camaro and would be interested in hearing from you about your install. I have the DSE Quadra link rear suspension, however I was thinking I might only purchase the X pipe from Holly as I may go with 2.5” out of the muffler up and over the axel to the rear of the car.
Also I don’t have the Holley headers. I have a older set of Stainless Works headers and I’m not sure about the difference in the spread between the Holley blackheart exhaust system X pipe inlet and the spread of my headers at the collectors when installed on my LS motor. I called Holley and the sales rep was unable or unwilling to get me a measurement of there X pipe. So if you could get me a center to center measurement at the inlet to the Holley X pipe that would be very helpful. Any pictures and tip on how the install went would be appreciated.
Thanks, Robert

Sorry I sold my car and never finished the exhaust.

My experience when doing the exhaust on my 68 Camaro with the Quadralink setup was that even the 2.5” diameter pipe had no room going over the axle. I ended up notching my trunk corners to get enough room. Mine is all 3” pipe but we did put some 2.5” up there just to see if the real estate was there before I notched the corners.
