I have been away for awhile, doing my military thing - so I may be a little behind on the threads. Is there a consensus (is there ever a consensus?) on the Fat Man Fab 2" drop spindles for Chevelles? I would like to use a set instead of the "B" body spindles (which have problems with bump steer) with the Global West upper "A" arms for "Tall" spindles. Will this combo work? Will it work well?
I have a 1972 Chevelle and I am building a mild street machine (no race). I am planning on using GW uppers in front, stock lowers, GW springs, Edelbrock shocks, and the full GW setup in the rear with disk brakes on all 4 corners. Anybody do a similar setup?

ATS AFX spindle... It's tall like the B-body, and takes all C5 & C6 Corvette brakes as a bolt on. No bump-steer issues either.

Shiny Side Up!

Fatman lowerd the steer-arm holes to eliminate bumpsteer issues on Camaros and Novas. This worsens bumpsteer on Chevelles.

To use the Fatman spindles, I'd recommend also buying ATS's billet steer arms (they did the same thing on their spindles, but were smart enough to know they'd have to do something to fix it, which is what their billet steer arms are meant for) Some grinding will be necessary to get these arms to fit the fatman spindle though.

The SC&C tall balljoint packages are a much better option.
SC&C's adjustable upper A-arms are also much cheaper than GW's and offer the benefit of adjustability.
