Back at it!!
Finally after months of not working on the mustang I'm back at it!! 2012 was a very busy year for me and pretty much didn't get anything done on the car. I'm at a point where I'm putting mustang in a shop to get all the body mods that I want done. I'm leaning towards JCG.
I sold all my engine parts, so I will need to start fresh with the engine build. I'm not sure what engine to run now? Was either thinking a 427 Windsor stroker or a coyote?? Any suggestions? I would love to hear input from you guys! |
I've been going back and fourth over the past week trying to decide on what engine I want. I'm leaning a lot more towards the 427 stroker. I'm thinking I'll buy a long or short block and finish the rest off myself.

Ok folks! I decided to go with the coyote engine. I plan on either getting a built coyote from MMR or the Ford Racing Aluminator XS crate. As for the transmission I'm going with a Magnum T-56.

Oh, and look at possibly using the Ford T56 Magnum XL. It should place the shifter a little further back and closer to the driver's seat. |

I was looking into the Magnum T-56 XL too! Thanks for the advise, Matt |
I also plan on moving the engine a few inches back. So still not sure if the Magnum or Magnum XL would be best. I need to get the shifter location dimensions before I make a decision.
