Sorry if I missed it, but what are you using for a dif fluid pump? Also when you have a system like that how to you set the "full" level? fill it, then run the pump then fill it again? or fill it with the pump on?

Ridgid benders work great and using cheap aluminum for mock-up saves expensive mistakes with the stainless.

At the minimum you should run a line off the diff to an overflow tank higher than the diff for track use. This will allow the fluid to get hot and have a place to expand into then drain back. I started to run diff coolers after I saw hot the diffs temps got during track use. If you want to know for sure add a thermal couple to the diff fluid. If the fluid gets hot than 140 C ( 284 F) degrees with synthetic fluid you will need a cooler. If you are running standard gear lube the temperature is lower.

A diff cooler is a little over kill for most Pro-Touring cars. If you have over 500 HP and are going fast for long track sessions it is cheap insurance. If you are just auto-crossing I wouldn’t spend the money.
