I don't know if this is still open..if so, PM me a ballpark price. This is the first I've read about this system... 25 amps per circuit..This changes everything!

Mine came in WOW ... What an awsome product... Can't wait to install:willy:
|
are there anymore deals to be had on this system. I am weeks from wiring my car....
|
I talked to the guys at SEMA alot...seems really cool.
Any of you guys actually have it installed and running in a car for some time? I've seen quite a few testimonials on people that have bought one, and installed it, but no "real world... I've been running one for a year and its awesome" kinda stuff.... |
Funny, Ned -- I also talked to these guys for awhile. I guess the question I still have is == why would I add complexity -- to otherwise fairly simple wiring in my car. I guess when I got done talking to them - I couldn't really come up with an "advantage" to going with these types of systems. Maybe I just don't get it.

"real world... I've been running one for a year and its awesome"
anything in particular you want to know? |
No real specific question...
Just any feedback about how its holding up.....after a cars been on the road for awhile, the little bugs in alot of stuff pop up....some related to particular systems and other systems that need to be changed that have influences on other systems etc. I guess the question is always....given what you know now, would you have done anything different? |
1 year later - no issues with the system.
We had a hickup while at the dyno tuner - he tried to jump one the switch for the ignition with +12V (the switch is grounded on the ISIS system). Blew a fuse and caused an issue with the individual circuit - solved by replacing the fuse and reprogramming the circuit but no damage to anything. My ISIS was an early production/late prototype and did not have the warnings on the unit that the new ones do regarding grounded switches so not an ISIS fault but lack of communication issue. Other than that, the only thing that has caused any questions has been human error - hitting the security lockout on the key fob without realizing it. Which is one of the great features of the unit that gets no attention - built in to the system is a (near as I can tell) fail safe security feature that allows the user to completely lock out the ignition/starter. Used as a theft deterrent or for piece of mind when the car is in the hands of others you can't beat it. The visual diagnostics have helped a bunch when troubleshooting stuff as well. I have no issues with it what so ever and have already ordered another unit to use on my next build. |

And is this still ongoing? I didn't look over all the pages but I am interested. PM me price please. |
Still Doing a Multi Item Discount?
I am definitely in the market for an ISIS system after reading the most recent Hotrod Magazine. I was just wondering if there was still some kind of package deal still going on. Let me know.
