Bought a few parts...some carbon fiber from Anvil and a pair of NOS bumpers. I was gonna tuck the old bumpers, but after finding these and the price I paid for them, there's no way I can bring myself to cut them. Some of you older guys may remember the protective, blue gel coating that GM used to put on their bumpers.

Okay, now for the big surprise. Good news and bad news. The bad news first. Well, my project will be put on hold for about 2-3 months. But, the good news is I'm getting a garage built for all of my toys. It's not a big elaborate shop with super, mega welders or ultra powerful compressors like some you guys have. It's just a Christmas gift to myself. It will have nice shelves in it and a big commercial two-sided sink though. They got underway on it last week. It will be 26'x32'.

Thanks guys! It'll only take about 6-8 weeks to finish it. But, it'll take me another 2-3 months to recover financially. I'm not one of those millionaire guys on the site that was in that poll.  So, the Chevelle will commence again in the late spring.

Rybar, I just work hard for a living. But, I wouldn't call it living high on the hog as they say.
