To bad Dane--will miss having you and the car there. Hopefully you can still make it out to the event and get a chance to just hang out and relax. Blessings to you for the surgery and the recovery period--the kids and I will pray for a succesful surgery and a speedy recovery for you at bedtime this evening!

Yeah, I know--did you see he called my cars stance/suspension settings "Jabroni"? I looked up the definition---"Poser, someone who can't walk the talk". LOL---We be findin out in less than two weeks I guess--If the car doesn't work, I'm going to have to call it by this new Todd endorsed name. Maybe I will just enter it in the car show.

Hey All,

Looks like I am making the trip out west to do some tuning on a couple cars for the event. I have not been to the LA area since about 1986, so it should be fun.

See ya all out there.

Its just cutting it too close. I'm getting a pain pump implant, so its a bit more complicated than just 'recovery' as well. I may respond poor to the implant, the meds etc, and the last place I want to be is on a racetrack adjusting to those meds...

The tire wear rating thing was a bit of a surprise as well. :(

If I'm feeling up to attending the event I will try to make it down, meet you all and shake some hands. But I think pushing my car to its limits with a new pain med implants just pushing the limit.

I need to focus on getting myself sorted, not my car for once.

Good luck everyone! I hope Bill can find someone to replace me.

Hey Dane -- I'm heading down on Sat from the SFV area. I think were close if you want/need a ride? My car's still in fab, so I'm a spectator too...

Friday Night Karting Opportunity

Seems we have some interest out there in getting together for a quick Friday night Karting event as a prelude to Saturdays competition, so wanted to add a post here to see who's game..........

Looks like it will be Dromo1 in Orange, off the 57 Fwy. Current plan is to book it by this Friday based on commitments posted here, so add your name to the list and let me know if you want to attend.

8:00PM start time

Address:
1431 North Main Street
Orange, CA 92867-3403
(714) 744-4779

www.dromo1.com

Here's what we're going to go with:

semi-private/group events (we would not be closed to the public) for a minimum of 8 drivers (this event guarantees private races, based on multiples of 8-10 drivers, so it works for 8-10, or 16-20 and so on). Must be booked in advance – 1-6 days ahead:

$60 per person:
12 Lap Practice
14 Lap Qualifying
16 Lap Final Race
Trophies

As I get additional info, I'll post it here..... in the meantime if you have any questions, please email me ( [email protected] )

Thanks

Mike.
