Power steering fitting

I like to use the C6 Corvette belt track system for my LS conversion.. It just works the best for fitment on alternator placement & you can buy them from Pace Performance without A/C compressor for 500.00 bucks..
We made this power steering fitting to extend & be able to have a -6 AN male connection.. Works great!

Currently working on A/C brackets to mount a Saden 7 A/C compressor to this drive system..

I would be real interested in that AC bracket.

Chris - what location are you looking to relocate the compressor to?

I'm not familiar with the LSx & stock-sub combination but is there not enough room to fit the compressor and alternator in the lower FBody positions? (I realize the YBody belt offset is different). Just curious as I've found a couple of possible solutions along the way.

Gandalf- Looking to put the compressor in the stock location of where the C6 compressor was.. It is a bit of a challenge because the is the one that GM offers that sits closest to towards the block.. with the early F-body & CTS.. The problem with early Camaro/Nova subs is that putting the compressor low will require modification to the sub-frame.. The Saden 7 is nice & compact! I try to use as much of the GM stuff on my LS conversions as possible..

The LS2(GTO) sits about .800 towards the radiator & the 2010 Camaro is 1.510.. I have all the these track system here @ the shop... & what I have done is use the LS2(GTO) & 2010 Camaro harmonic balancer with water pump & machined spacers that move the alternator/power steering bracket from a C6 towards the front of the car for belt alignment..

Awesome Job!!!! :)

Ok - sounds like the same battle but different directions. I admit I have the luxury of having an AM sub so I have the room lower-down where I wanted to run the accessories. I have the C6 offset and wanted to keep that without having the accy way up high. I managed to find a bracket for the alt to do just that and then brackets to do same with the Sanden comressor and PS. Again, wasn't sure if you had the room with the stock sub and since it took me months to find the right combo, just looking to pass the information on.

Nice job on the Mary's car and recent projects - keep 'em coming!

Gandalf- We have already done an LS2(GTO) A/C bracket system with an Art Morrison sub-frame with Saden 5.. Looking @ changing the design to use the Saden 7.. Accy drive system is close to the one on a F-body..

Looks great - especially that a/c bracket. Correct me if I am wrong but based on where that PS pump is positioned, this won't work with a YBody accy offset? (I'm not familiar with the GTO offset as compared to early 98-02FBody or YBody). I'm running an ATI balancer on the LS7 so I've let that dictate lining-up the accy drive (ie: YBody). Running a VA compressor. Always open to other solutions.
